Mel was waiting near the front door. She had on a
nice dress, and the paperwork that indicated Alex Was With Her was in her purse.
She smiled when she saw Alex. "Hi. The cab's just pulled up. Ready to go?"
Oh gosh, she hoped she wouldn't melt into her chair.
