She may be near finding out. The uni-beam, fired at that angle, akes him off his feet, sending him crashing to the ground in a crouch. That's the up-side. The down is that he doesn't appear injured by the blast, though it caught him dead on - he's not dodging much.
From the crouch, he launches himself into a shoulder charge, moving faster than anything that big should be able to.
