A text came in to Tony's phone from his daughter's phone.

Up for lunch? Meet me at my apartment at 1. I'll make arrangements for a place here in Cambridge. It's for a surprise for Mom. Love, Anya.

Call it Spider Sense, but the hair stands on Tony's next just before the blast. a near by table is knocked over as he dives for cover. The problem is that there's loads of civilians, someone shooting at him, and crap for cover. thinking quickly, he shoves his compacted suit just inside the restaurant's door, hits a button on his phone and makes a gamble.

"Okay!" he shouts. "You have me in a 'no bargin' position, so let's bargain! I'm coming out on three." People are still running around. Good. "1-4-8-9-16-22...3!"

	Anya woke to softness and warmth. She opened her eyes and blinked a few times. The room was opulent and the sheets on the bed were pure silk. The very small nightgown she wore was also made of silk. A gilded cage. It was nothing more than a gilded cage. The door opened and Anya immediately pulled the covers up a little. (Reply to this)(Thread)

"Oh good. You're awake," Therese said as she entered the room. "This will go much easier on both of us if you cooperate. We do have an audience, so please be on your best behavior. When we're done you'll feel very good. Probably the best you've felt in your entire life."

Therese carefully crossed the room.

"Now, ready to start?" she asked with a smile.

In one corner of the room there was a camera which broadcasted the proceedings to Temujin and to another room where Tony was being held.

Hours later Therese smiled. "See? That wasn't so bad, now was it? I fixed you all up as requested."

	It warms his heart to see her like this. He approaches her and runs a thumb over her cheek. "It is good to see you are well, my dear." He tilts her head up and kisses her. His eyes have been pried open. His legs and arms bolted to the oddly comfortable chair he's in. There's a few tricks he's learned over the years, like hyperventilating himself into unconsciousness or a completely altered state. He can only try each trick once - like when Temujin began to make his daughter into a porn star supervillain. His assistants shocked him awake, but they were obviously being careful. Temujin obviously has plans for him, and he should pick his battles carefully.

He is going to kill this man and time is running out.
