Ellie had to stop herself from squealing too loudly when she got the card in the mail. True, she didn't really know Daniel all that well, but it was still a card. From a boy!
She'd send a card to Daniel too, even though it'd get there a day late.
She'd also call Daniel, to thank him. It took her awhile, but she eventually got a hold of a number to call. Sitting down on the sofa, Ellie dialed and listened to the phone ring.
