Her smile slolwy returned, seeing Ennie's. Alisa took a seat by the bathtub, looking up at him. She seemed happy again, even excited.
"N-non... but ah did f-finish work ahead o' schedule... way ahead, actually." Alisa gave off a girlish laugh as she looked up at her brother. "Ah... ah was on a date... a... a real date... like de kind in mah romance novels. Y-you know... were two people ju's go out tagether... a-an' talk, an' hold hands..."
Alisa's cheeks flushed as she thought of the time she spent with Argo, how happy she had been, how free. She was able to be herself, as well as confess what had been bothering her for the past five years.
