Cassie was slow to wake. Her brain felt like it wanted to burst out of her skull. She was in no hurry to do anything until she remembered what had happened.
"Scotty!" Cassie jumped awake. She stifled a short cry when she noticed Andrea's head. She would be all right. They could fix her.
But this? This was strange. It was not what she would have expected from Kang.
