After everything is said and done, Simon actually going to try something else - wine and the cliff. Yes, he's beating himself up with Syd's favorite drink and looking out on the ocean while he listens to a new script just to lose himself a little in his penance.
He hadn't thought about the Avengers in years, not really. Not since Tommy and Billy reappeared. In California, he was and probably would remain the big guy. In New York, he had been in the way...always and forever in the way. Carol knew he'd never go back to the East Coast for more then a few days. That's how she had been able to hide Grace from him and everyone else.
