He favors his daughter with a gentle smile. "Thanks." He kisses her on the forehead and leaves a hand on her shoulder. "Was wondering when I'd get to show you off." He shrugs. "But not today. Syd wants some quiet, so I think I'd like to respect that. Fine by you?"
