Sylvie, off key and doing her best to keep hold, started sing the obscure jingle 'Tensor said the tensor,' as loud as she could through clenched teeth and breathing heavily. It was an old joke, that no telepath could read one's mind with that stupid, stupid song stuck in one's head, because no one wants to hear it. Anything to keep her off balance so she couldn't hurt anyone else, because Sylvie couldn't twist any harder.
