The chanting continues for a good ten or so minutes as the cloth becomes more and more dry. Fifteen minutes or so later, Melissa removes the cloth, and the bruise is gone. She stretches a little, moves, and ignores the slight tingle in her back that was a throbbing pain a bit ago.
"I bet you'd love to help me get rid of some clothes." Melissa smirked. "But sorry, I didn't wear the thigh holster tonight. I save that for skirt nights." she says, taking off the knife sheath.
She rolls onto her side and looks at Kelly. "Hey, thanks for backing me up. You...didn't have to do that. Never met anyone who was willing to help the first person they met.
Although, I'm sure the twins had something to do with your decision." she grins.
