"Okay. There was one guy out there, tall, brown hair, British accent, black coat who was watching you and Johnny. He showed a few minutes after you walked in, and paid more attention to you than me when I went to his table. I tried to slip him the same thing I slipped Johnny, but he got wise to it." she said, a note of distaste in her tone.
"There was also a guy in the alley across the street. Hispanic, by the looks of him. My car is parked a couple of blocks over. It's a Black Dodge Charger, no plates.
All we've got to do is get over there alive and in mostly one piece. Which means--" she pauses and leans down, pulling a couple of pungent smelling salts from inside her coat and waving them under Joey's nose, "--that everyone has to pull their weight.
Get up, Aussie. We're leaving now." she says.
