Mikle fully expected the old man to throw a fit over Mikel talking to Samantha. Probably enough of one that the old man would be waiting for him around the corner ready to kick his ass into another country.
"Thank you," he said. "Probably a day or two. I have some business to take care of here in the city." It was true, he was just doing it right now.
