Under normal circumstances, she sees through these things. Sure, the lights don't catch her attention a lot, she's aware enough of her surroundings to be ready to react. She'd typically read an opponent's heartbeat, inflection, etc. to tell when an attack is a feint or really coming.
This isn't normal circumstances. Her brain keeps buzzing, and the feeling of wrong just grows. Enough that she walks right into the fireball, getting a punch off, though she's 'only' at normal strength, not channeling extra energy into strength and the rest, but goes flying back, skidding along the ring with the blast.
