Things Out of Nightmares
A night out at a club was a preemptive move on Anya's part. She didn't need hear her two keepers nagging her about not getting out and not having a social life, so she arranged a night out at a club for anyone who wanted to come along. She had even sent a text to Prince Dork to let him know the X-kids were invited. It was an 18+ club even though Anya and Toni weren't technically 18 yet. Fake IDs were wonderful things.
The punk and alternative music was loud and Anya could barely hear herself think. She had picked
CBGB because of the music. She was feeling energetic and good and the music had to suit her mood. The place looked like a graffiti paradise and was a total dive. It was absolutely perfect for her mood.
She practically bounced up to the bar to get a soda.
