"I will contact you as often as possible, Kassia. Now, remember, your sister is your sovereign and she speaks with my authority. You are to heed her and do nothing that will make it difficult to keep you safe.
When it is safe for you to come home, I will come for you as soon as possible. Take care of your sister, my little Maiden." he says.
He looks to Marinna with a smile. "Thank you again, Marinna. You've allowed us both into your heart without reservation, and I truly appreciate the kindness you've shown Kassia. I know you will take care of her. Have a cookie or two for me, both of you." he says, moving to hug them both.
"I will see you both as soon as I can." he says.
