"If they raised your mother then you kind of are their own," she offered. It made sense to her at least.
"I'm only a quarter Atlantean myself. At least by species. I can't claim to be Atlantean in terms of citizenship. But that's okay. I have wings on my ankles like dad so I know who I am. I was so excited to get mine. Dad said you have them, too?"
