"I'm good, Rose. You okay?" Joey asks, trying not to seem like he's staring at two different visions of Rose. His head is still spinning, but it's hurting less to breathe, so he's pretty sure his ribs are just bruised, not actually broken.

"Okay, so...we beat the birds, and the cave walls. Now, we just beat the rock monsters. I think we qualify for bein' allowed to go the rest of the way without trouble." he says, pants, trying to get to his feet.

His legs feel like spaghetti, but he gets up.
