He may look like Spider-Man, but he's not so fortunate as to have that precognitive danger sense.
Not that his reflexes are anything sloppy though. His body seems to shift almost unnaturally at the first impact of the chain, only taking one solid part of a hit. He spins, swinging his opposite arm around to bash the thug in the back of the head.
