Rachel's head swam. She'd never felt so drained in her life. She couldn't access her telekinetic or telepathic powers and even her connection to the Phoenix (mercifully quiet since the Apocalypse battle) was quiet.

It had all happened so fast, she still wasn't sure what to make of it. One minute, they'd landed on the island and disembarked, the next the Blackbird had just been gone, and then...

Then, she realized, she couldn't remember.
