A call comes over Kristoff's communicator, registering as originating from Vincent's laboratory.

"Kristoff, would you join me in my lab? I'm preparing to initiate something, but I need a fresh set of eyes and a fresh mind to make sure I haven't overlooked anything."

A pause.

"Please."

Kristoff will find the lab leaning more heavily towards magic than even usual, adorned in sigils and runes on every surface, with a particularly complex one in the center, Vincent hovering above it.

"Watch your step please. I'm in the final stages of preparing a chronal reversion spell. It should reset my physical state by a specific amount of time. I've placed various modifications over it to prevent my memories from being reverted as well, and to make sure my physical location remains constant."

She wipes her face with a cloth, not daring to let any sweat fall upon the salt she's laying.

"Your observations?"

Vincent nods. "It is not, however, a task I can achieve on my own. The nature of the transfiguration would require adjustments in progress. This way, I need only be at the epicenter for the duration of the spell, after setting it in motion."

She moves herself to an open section of floor, looking at her brother.

She wants to tell him. Wants to explain how much she needs to be able to do something for herself, in light of all the hurt and loss incurred in her restoration. She's not sure she has the right though; or the ability to do so without salting the wounds further.

Kristoff's looking thoroughly over the entire setting.

"Ah." Kristoff's not really expecting an explanation; he believe he can recognize pride talking easily enough, even if his brother might not necessarily think of it in those exact terms.

"I shall...try not to dwell on the potential that this much bypassing of the Law of Conservation of Causality leaves the surrounding space-time excessively vulnerable. Everything looks essentially in order."

	Vincent looks between the array that's taken her the better part of several days to assemble. Then she looks at her brother, for a long quiet moment. After ensuring that she takes a path that won't cause anything to go off in their faces, she walks over and hugs him. "I'll call Miss Sersi.." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Vincent tightens the hug, it having been somewhat less for his own benefit than he initially realized.

"I wasn't going to go back so far as to remove the scarring." She swallows the lump in her throat. "As much as I regret the hurt I have inflicted upon those closest to me, I will not be ashamed of my decisions, or hide from the consequences of them."

She looks up. "Once all else is in order with my state... I believe I am due to speak with Franklin as well."

	Vincent rubs her face. She had a headache, particularly focused behind her eyes, obviously. Else she'd not be rubbing them. "Is there anywhere you'd like to go for lunch? I've been inside too long." 	'Decent' was high praise from Kristoff for any food west of the Balkans. Vincent nods, examining her hands. "I believe I would do well to put some lotion to my hands as well." She looks over the room. Yeah, that had been a lot of salt. "I'll join you in the lobby shortly." She finally releases the hug, excusing herself. (Reply to this)(Parent)
