He lets her come. He's no man, he's an Eternal, and well aware of his advantages here. Her skill amazes him, but he can't let that stop him from doing what he must.
As she closes, he unleashes a pulse of blinding light, then follows it with another concussive blast to the chest, trying to put her down without hurting her too badly.
