The decorations did turn out well, but Marlow wondered if there would be ... more. She didn't see the spider god do anything, but she wouldn't put it past him to make something erupt in lava flow or a river of Jello.

She hovered around the edges enjoying the party. Birthday parties weren't part of her childhood.
