Asleif had a spell for silence (though it would probably prevent everyone in the compound from making noise for some time), and could likely hypnotize the child into not speaking. However, despite what her siblings thought of her, Asleif had never used spells or coercion on anyone who had not deserved it (even if her definition of "deserve" was a bit... flexible).
"I do not have a tiara," she told the girl. "Nor have I ever worn pink."
