"We got each other's backs," Anya reminded her. "Just like it's always been and always will be."
"Hey, you're allowed to be selfish. The timing on this sucks, I know. With Charlie leaving and now this right after it...I know it can't be easy. I really am sorry. I was going to be away for school this summer and this is just something else to do on top of it."
She looked over. "I will be home on the weekends. My favorite people on the planet will be here and I'll miss them too much if I don't come home."
