James was really nervous. Sure he had taken Valeria to the wedding, but that was a family event and it wasn't just the two of them like the prom would be. He had never been to a prom before, so this was entirely new to him. Thankfully he had a sister and a mother who knew what to do in this case.

He wore a tux of course. As if his mother would have let him out of the house without one and he carried a corsage. He didn't even know what a corsage was except that it was made from flowers and both his mother and sister insisted that he had to give one to Val and it had to match her dress. When did going to a dance get so complicated?

They also insisted on a limo and insisted that he remind Mrs. Richards that she needed to send pictures of James and Val to Natasha. He would never in his life understand women. Especially the ones he was related to.

He arrived at the Baxter Building on time and asked Roberta to notify Valeria that he was here.
