Melissa heads out to the cemetery early in the day while Kelly and Wade sleep, wanting to make this trip alone. When she finds Whitney Frost's headstone, she brushes away some of the recent dirt and lays the flowers down at the foot of the grave.
Then she sets down a blanket and is silent for a long moment.
"Hi, Mama. Happy Mother's Day. I'm sorry I haven't come by more, but this have been really crazy. I...met someone. A girl. I think you'd really like her. Her name is Kelly..." Melissa says, spending the next two hours to tell her mother all about her girlfriend and all the new events in her life.
