Matt hears the phrase "black magic" and his "Oh Crap" sense starts going off. He's not a fan of the Dark Arts and he'd vehemently oppose them being used upon him in any fashion.
However, Matt can barely form a coherent sentence, let alone defend himself from the doctor's workings.
He will, however, note this for future reference, somewhere in the back of his pain-addled brain.
