On to the next stage - Gelato!
What sort of outing do you plan for the girl who likes ice cream?
Gelato, of course.
Specifically,
L'Arte del Gelato at the
Chelsea Market. Their outings were taking on a theme, but it didn't bother him. Tessa was good company. He still didn't think she was into him, but she probably got hit on a lot and it might be a relief to hang out with a guy without the pressure. Men and women could just be friends. Happened all the time. A guy who had to make public appearances could never have too many pretty friends who wouldn't mind the gossip rags.
He called and asked her to let him know when she was free from work and wanted to get out for awhile.
