"It does mean a lot to me," she said. She was a Stark. Sure she could sit back and live off the family name and money, but she wouldn't be who she was if she did. Her parents, both of them, had taught her about responsibility and working for things. She could have anything and everything she wanted, but she liked working for things. Unfortunately they also taught her about being a workaholic and being obsessive about things. The good along with the not so good.

"You, of course, are more than welcome to join the team." She had to offer, but she knew he wouldn't accept. Being an Avenger was as much as part of Steve as being a workaholic was as much as part of her. She also wanted Steve to be able to do his own thing and not have to do something just because of her.
