Lasers were energy and Titanium Titan's suit was designed to absorb a lot of different kinds of energy. The laser hit and the suit immediately started to absorb it. The only indication that it had hit was a small smudge on his helmet. He let loose with a concussion blast at the woman who had shot at him.
