Happy Birthday To You
James wasn't sure if Valeria had plans with her family or not, so he decided to drop off her birthday gifts a day early. He showed up at the Baxter Building with a bouquet of daisies and two small wrapped boxes.

He was going to go with the standard gift of chocolate and a spa trip, but then he remembered he got her a charm bracelet for Christmas. It took him awhile, but he found two charms for it and ones she would appreciate. Or at least he hoped she would appreciate them. He got her an infinity charm and a microscope charm.

He stopped in the lobby and asked Roberta to inform Val he was here.

Val's parents were taking her out to dinner, like they did every year. They'd said that she could take James with them, if she liked. When Roberta called up to her lab to tell her that James had arrived, Val grinned, rushing down to meet him.

"Hey handsome," she said, kissing him when she got there, "This is a nice surprise."

James smiled and returned the kiss. "Hello Beautiful. Happy Birthday," he said as he presented the flowers and the two small gifts.

"Thanks James," she said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. She opened the gifts. "These are lovely." She gave him another kiss.
