Sergei sees the bomb explode and realizes it's gas. All right, so this one has tricks. No problem.
Sergei takes one last breath of fresh air, fires off two more shots, and heads for the rooftop access door thirty feet away. He doesn't beeline for it, as he doesn't want to give this freak a clear shot.
If he can get inside the building he's in, he can at least change his game plan and warn the others.
