Andrew remembers his birthday for one reason, and one reason only - that they share it, and he has alerts on his computer to remind him of her birthday, otherwise he'd kind of forget it til she showed up to get him, like most other important events.
As it is, he has some new clothes for her being delivered, and reservations out. He's always been given most of what he wanted for things, so when gift shopping he tends to think more in terms of events like nights out over stuff.
"Come on in." he calls, already up, and digging through briefing reports from the UN.
