Since the weather finally broke from the spring chill and apparent desire to crawl back into winter, Val decided to have her coffee break outside in the sun in the manicured patio area. She had her note pad out, with both journals and cases loaded on it as well as that Tetris-crossword puzzle game, but she preferred just tipping her head back and basking in the warm sunshine for a while. Smiling at the sun, she sighed and opened her eyes to take a sip of her drink. Maybe she could move her desk out here...
