"I can't imagine what it's like just learning about all of this," he said. "I grew up with it and still think some of it is unbelievable. I would have explained why I was leaving if I had the time. I didn't want to hurt anyone."
Greg had tried to be very careful about things, but over the years there had been a few times where he couldn't avoid bad things happening. He still saw the faces in his nightmares.
