The scream of help drew Tina's awareness to the surface of her mind and she blinked her eyes open. There was a lot of rubble on top of her, but she could see Cassidy semi-clearly.
She could also feel the massive pain running through her side down towards her opposite hip and could taste the metallic sting of blood.
"If this is the afterlife I'm pissed."
