The hero known as Rebound has just been out on a patrol of the city, looking for crime to stop and people to save. Leaping from building to building with a little kinetic assistance, the young man is rather enjoying his night even if there hasn't been too much for him to do.
Of course as he stops to pose dramatically on the corner of a rooftop, the sound of gunshots draws his attention. "Time for action," he says too himself, rushing towards the sound. He arrives in time to see someone bleeding and slumping over and scowls. Leaping up, he comes down on the street to make himself a shield for his fellow costumed crime fighter. Smacking himself in the chest to flare up his aura shield, Rebound continues to serve as a human shield until the police can get Swashbuckler out of the direct line of fire.
