Sylvie puts on all her gloves. "First, we take these biggest pieces, and the cookies -- only a couple; that's good; not a lot wasted -- and set them aside. Now you get a plastic bag to wrap those big pieces in, and I'll get some paper towels to wet, so we can get the little shards better. " Once her hands are all secured, Sylvie moves to do so.
"And, of course, the most important part of cleaning up glass is that unless Uncle Scott or my mom specifically asks about the broken glass, neither Uncle Scott nor my mom needs to be informed about the broken glass."
