Midnight ducks down as the blast misses, growling slightly at Mina.
"I won't let you get in the way of my mission," he says, letting loose a cloud of DarkForce to hide him from view. Letting the foot-thick cloud of inky blackness linger, the young mutant turns and run along on all fours. He ends up crashing through the kitchen door and into the kitchen as he's got no idea where he's going.
