"I've done that. Woken up in a cold sweat. Sometimes screaming. If anyone asks, I just say I found a spider in my bed. Or some lame excuse like that. I've been telling myself that they'll just go away. That the blocks will set in eventually. Anything to just make it hurt a little less." She rested her head on his chest. "Goddamn it, I just wish this was easier."
