"You don't know Justin. He'll ask questions. The only way he won't is if I mess with his head and I'm not doing that, Joey." Tina frowned and looked down at her hands. She knew how this would play out. She felt it in her gut. She'd lie to Justin. He wouldn't buy it. There would be some sort of lack of trust or an argument or both and when that happened, the relationship would crumble. At the end of the crumbling Tina would be alone, having lost the only person she ever loved.
But then there was Cassidy. Who needed her. Needed her in ways that no one but her could understand.
"I'm going to lose the only person who has ever loved me over this. I hope you're good with that because I'm going to blame you."
