Joe knew, of course, it was Tam's birthday, just like he'd memorized most, if not all, of the birthdays of the girls at Xaiver's.
He'd made her a couple of mix-tape CDs of songs he hoped she'd like, and if she was around, might even be able to work up the courage to ask her out.
