"Indeed. So it would be natural for them to take out the greatest threat and leave the lesser ones for last. This is probably why the rest of us were uninjured. They needed to take you out of the fight because they felt they could deal with us. I imagine Victor was probably next to be bitten."
Elise frowned at her scratching and got up to get the lab's first aid kit.
"You probably need your bandages changed. Perhaps a little bit of air to the wound will help with the itching as well. It is something that..." her voice dropped. "my mother taught me."
