"See, Rose, this is why we're so good together. You don't wanna stab me, and I wanna keep all my organs where they were when I got 'em." he says.
"But no, I don't want to take advantage of you. You're worth waitin' for. Right now, though, we're gonna talk a little bit. Ana-Pants, Tina, Chris...they wouldn't want to see you like this. Mina wouldn't, either." Joey says.
He helps her walk, keeping her upright and warding off the questioning glances they got along the way.
