Joey knows what it's like to lose a friend.
"I'm not a good guy, Rose. Or, if I am, you're the reason why." he says.
"You have all the right in the world to miss Jake; what happened shouldn't have happened, but we'll mourn him, and then we'll work on living every day to the fullest. Jake was the kind of guy who'd want that for all his friends. I also think he wouldn't want you or Mina to be alone.
We'll go say hi to her tomorrow, the first chance we get." Joey says. If the girls share a good cry together, it might help them both work through some things.
He's no shrink, but he hears such things work.
