"She does. She's not a motherly person but she's always treated me well. I wouldn't want to, not now. But if Clea needed me, I would be there for her. I owe her my life. I don't know what they would have done with me if she hadn't been there."
She peered at him. The movie she'd waited to see was largely ignored, but she could always watch it later. "What would you do if you had the choice of doing anything and being anywhere in the world?"
