"I don't expect him to make me happy. He'll get tired of me soon enough and start being with Halbjorn to fight and be with the girls. I'll still be his friend and help keep him from hurting himself or other people. Teammates do that." She was sure they did. The godlings watched out for each other. She could do that with Titan.
"I'm much better." She looked down at the bandage peeking over the neckline. "It pulls and twinges, but it's starting to itch. Sarah and Synday say that's a good sign."
