The Dragon has been attacked before, and knows that the metal arm that humans carry causes pain. Sure enough, it will bite into the dragon's scales, causing it to roar in pain.

The dragon shakes itself violently, causing the ground to rumble, in an attempt to throw Svalin to the ground, where it may better devour her.
