"Hey, did you hear something?" one of the thugs asked a buddy.
"No."
"I thought I did. I'm gonna check it out," he said and started walking toward the car.
The two men in the middle continued to talk. Their voices are low, but occasionally a word or two could be made out. Drugs and weapons were mentioned.
