The thugs run a little way past the dumpster and slowed to a stop. The kid had to go somewhere. Vinnie would swear he hit the kid.
"You'd see where he went?" Vinnie asked.
"Nope."
"Awww. Dammit."
"We better get back."
"Yeah," Vinnie said and turned around to start walking back to the cars.
